Family Home of Hope Orphanage
For a small amount each month you can help change the life of a child in Carrefour, Haiti
Family Home of Hope is a Non-Denominational Christian orphanage in Carrefour, Haiti that was founded by Church of God Pastor Kens Celestin of Waterbury CT.
When he returned several months after the devastating earthquake that shook the country on January 12, 2010 to his home town, he found young children wandering the streets begging for food. Many had lost both parents and many had no home or family left. At the time he began feeding them and helping them with what little he had, but concerns of their future weighed on his mind. In June 2011 the home officially became an orphanage and currently takes care of 16 children age 5-16 (with others on a waiting list) by providing food, shelter and clothing, as well as medical and educational needs. But most of all the orphanage provides a family atmosphere with a home full of love and hope. A new addition has recently been built and has added some much needed space.
